Kitchen Fire Suppression

Kitchen Fire Suppression
We stand the heat.

A kitchen provides specific challenges when it comes to fire suppression. They are one of the most vulnerable places for a fire to start. The fire is most likely to be a result of grease, which means that water will make the problem worse, not suppress the fire. A kitchen fire suppression system is specially designed to meet the fire challenges a kitchen presents.

Just because grease fires are common does not make them any less dangerous. It is a critical mistake to underestimate your firefighting needs in the kitchen putting at risk your business and the safety of customers and employees.

Every kitchen is different, and it is critical to choose the right system for yours. While safety is always paramount at CertaSite, we also understand how important it is to keep your business running smoothly. Our experts will work with you to not only design a suppression system that will keep people and property safe, but will minimize damage to food preparation areas, and get you back up and running as quickly as possible.

If you need to upgrade your current system, we can make certain you meet all National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements, including being UL 300 compliant. Since 2014, all systems are required to be UL 300 compliant, and for some, this requires agent amounts and flow rates that are three times higher than the system currently in place.

We provide installation and retrofitting, as well as full maintenance, inspection, and repair services, all with fully licensed technicians.
