Newly-Launched CertaSite Names Leadership Team

(Indianapolis, Ind.)  CertaSite, a newly-launched commercial fire protection and life safety company, unveiled its leadership team today. 

CertaSite provides the highest levels of customer service, responsiveness, building safety and code compliance to customers across the country. The company goes beyond compliance, focusing on partnerships and professionalism while providing customers a simplified and dependable solution to managing all of the fire protection and life safety systems found in commercial buildings.

Jeff Wyatt is chief executive officer. A 30-year veteran of the industry, Jeff has overseen the addition of five businesses to the CertaSite family since the company’s launch in June 2018. Under his leadership, CertaSite now boasts a presence in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Previously, Jeff worked with Koorsen Fire and Security for 25 years, during which he developed his passion for fire protection and the life safety industry. At Koorsen, he rose through the ranks from senior vice president of sales, to executive vice president, and finally to president of the company. His first job in the industry was as an installation technician.

Jeff is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving our country as an interior communications electrician. He received electricity and electronics certifications from Ivy Tech Community College.  

Giving back to his community and church is important Jeff. He relishes his role as a high school sponsor for Outlook Christian Church, where he mentors students as part of its ministry. He has also shared his talents as a video specialist with the church.

Kevin Bretcher is vice president of sales. Kevin is a distinguished sales leader; he has a record of successful leadership that includes developing high-performing sales teams and strategies. Prior to joining CertaSite, he was the district sales manager and then director of sales for Stericyle in Chicago. He has also represented Cintas in Denver, Colorado, and Los Angeles, California.

Kevin graduated magna cum laude from Miami University, where he studied business and marketing. 

Kelly Henderson is the chief marketing & strategy implementation officer. A successful and proven leader, Kelly previously held the positions of director of marketing and digital services, and later vice president of marketing, for Koorsen Fire and Security. With Koorsen, she developed the marketing and digital strategy that led to the strongest growth period in the company’s history. Kelly has also been the director of marketing for Mainstreet, SteadyServ and client services specialist for CB Richard Ellis.

Kelly earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, and her Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Bill Holmes is director of integration. His extensive experience in the fire and safety industry includes 25 years with Koorsen Fire and Security. With Koorsen, he gained valuable experience in many roles including as a technician, sales representative and branch and district manager.

Bill served his country for 15 years in the United States Navy, six years in the Kentucky Army National Guard and three years in the Army Reserve. The majority of his military service was focused on fire safety and life protection.

Becky Hardwick is director of technology. She is a seasoned technology professional, coming to CertaSite from the American College of Sports Medicine where she served as director of technology. Previously, Becky spent 17 years as Spectrum Technology (Port-to Port Consulting). She was promoted three times, working her way up from technician, to project manager, to outsourced chief technology officer. 

Becky is a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
